Big Book Revealed — Writing an Effective Fourth Step examines the precise directions contained in the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous for identifying, understanding, and addressing resentment through written inventory.
Rather than offering another interpretation of the Fourth Step, the work returns to the original text—examining its language, sequence, and instructions to better understand not simply what we are asked to write, but why we are asked to write it.
The book explores the resentment inventory in detail, including the people, institutions, and principles that trouble us; the causes behind our resentment; the areas of self that are affected; and the shift in perspective that prepares us to examine our own part.
At its center is a simple premise: the inventory is not the destination. It is a tool designed to uncover what stands between us and the spiritual life we are attempting to build.

BORIS' MISSION

Boris has returned to earth as a cat with an assignment: rescue his owner from spiritual decay.
Armed with memories of past lives, an extraordinary sense of purpose, and an almost insufferable confidence in the superiority of cats over humans, Boris sets about challenging the man he has been sent to save. His experiences across lifetimes become the tools through which he attempts to awaken his owner to the patterns, choices, and spiritual condition shaping his life.
There is, however, one complication.
Boris has become rather impressed with Boris.
Being personally dispatched by God on a mission of such obvious importance has convinced him that he may be something of a superhero—and certainly further evidence that felines occupy a considerably higher rung of creation than the humans they tolerate.
Part spiritual journey, part character-driven fiction, Boris' Mission explores transformation from an unusual vantage point: through the eyes of a soul who remembers where he's been, believes he knows precisely why he's here, and has been given the unenviable task of helping a human being discover the same.
